By trading in cheap Office and Windows serial numbers, the retailer Lizengo hit the headlines last year after the grocery chain Edeka sold their gift cards. Now the story is over: Lizengo is bankrupt.

Much more happened in between, as regular readers know. Microsoft intervened and claimed to have discovered several irregularities, Lizengo is said to obtain its keys from various dubious sources. Edeka took the vouchers out of the program again, but Microsoft stayed on the ball.

In August there were house searches in the vicinity of Lizengo, since the beginning of November the Lizengo website was no longer accessible due to alleged maintenance work. License Fox also writes on its website that there are currently no Microsoft products in the range due to "maintenance work".
