Pete Rose: Betting on baseball was 'the only mistake I've ever made in my life' Rose doesn't think he'll be elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame as long as he's alive."When I was betting on baseball when I got suspended, I was betting illegally on baseball. I make no more illegal bets in my life. That's why they have casinos," Rose told Gray.

Dillashaw , 34, was stripped of his title as part of his disciplinary timeout. But according to the former Ultimate Fighter (TUF) finalist, the promotion is willing to grant him an immediate title shot upon his return to If I can’t get that title fight, I want someone in the top five so that I can get my title fight.

T.J. Dillashaw intends to fight for the bantamweight title in his return to the UFC from suspension , assuming all goes according to plan. Dillashaw (16-4 MMA, 12-4 UFC) still has roughly eight months remaining in a two-year suspension issued by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency beginning in January 2019.

"I want that title fight right away," Dillashaw told ESPN's Brett Okamoto. "You've got a guy in Petr Yan who beat someone for the belt that is 0-2 in the division. Jose Aldo has two losses (at 135 pounds); you beat him for the title and you're calling yourself a champion?

"That belt has changed hands every fight. No one there has dominated. That's my belt, and I want to come back to a title fight."

Dillashaw failed a drug test for recombinant human erythropoietin (EPO) after a January 2019 loss to then-flyweight champion Henry Cejudo. The 34-year-old was suspended for two years and forfeited the bantamweight title. Dillashaw later admitted he knowingly used the banned substance.

Afterwards, Broncos coach Vic Fangio said the team would honor one of the franchise's original stars by sending Little and his family a game ball.

"I want that title fight right away," Dillashaw told ESPN. "You've got a guy in Petr Yan who beat someone for the belt that is 0-2 in the division. Although Dillashaw is free to come off suspension on Jan. 18, he said he would like to enjoy the holidays with his young son and fight sometime around

TJ Dillashaw insists he’s still the UFC bantamweight champion, not Henry Cejudo, despite his recent drug test suspension . TJ Dillashaw is working hard to keep his name in the combat sports headlines, in hopes that mixed martial arts (MMA) fans, or more importantly matchmakers, won’t

In Dillashaw's absence, Cejudo won the vacant 135-pound title, then relinquished it after announcing his retirement earlier in 2020. Yan won the vacant belt in July and is expected to defend it for the first time against Aljamain Sterling in early 2021.

Dillashaw, who's eligible to return to the Octagon on Jan. 18, believes he'll once again reach the pinnacle of the sport.

"I'll be a three-time bantamweight champion," Dillashaw said. "That's a guarantee, and it's going to happen sooner than people think."
