This year's college football season will still be impacted by COVID-19, but the schedule ahead will more resemble a traditional campaign compared to last year.

First full weekend of the season starts Sept. 2 and the schedule runs through the usual end date on the first Saturday in December. The College Football Playoff semifinals are set for the Orange Bowl and Cotton Bowl on Dec. 31. The national championship game will be held on Jan. 10, 2022 in Indianapolis.
