The 2018 NHL trade deadline is rapidly approaching. On Monday, Feb. 26 the NHL will officially close its doors on trades for the remainder of the 2017-18 season, meaning we have two weeks of potential madness left.

NHL trade deadline day is usually not as crazy as the NBA’s deadline is, as most major hockey trades happen — if at all — in the days leading up to the deadline. The rumors, however, seem to churn out new names every day as we get closer to the Feb. 26 deadline.

As such, we’ve compiled a complete list of trade rumors from Feb. 1 onwards about the biggest names potentially hitting the trade market. We’ve already seen teams like the New York Rangers flat out admit big trades are likely coming as we head into the deadline, but teams like the Buffalo Sabres and Ottawa Senators will also likely be major sellers as their playoff hopes end.

Earlier this week, Boston acquired defenceman Nick Holden from the New York Rangers for a minor league defenceman and third-round pick in the upcoming draft.Vatrano had career highs in all offensive categories last season with 10 goals and eight assists in 44 games.
