Arizona Cardinals general manager Steve Keim is facing a potential fine and suspension stemming from his DUI on July 4, a source told Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio.

The duration of the possible suspension and the magnitude of the fine are both unknown at this time, Florio added, as punishments for front-office employees aren't as clear-cut in the NFL as they are for players. Keim's blood-alcohol concentration - which isn't currently known - will likely influence the outcome.

If recent history is any indication, the league and teams handle similar incidents for executives on a per-case basis. Keim has been the Cardinals' general manager since 2013.
