Coca - Cola Coliseum is an arena at Exhibition Place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, used for agricultural displays, ice hockey and trade shows. It was built for the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) and the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair (the Royal) in 1921.

  • On July 1, the Air Canada Centre (home of the Leafs and Raptors) was renamed Scotiabank Arena.
  • On the same day, Hershey Centre in Mississauga (home of Raptors 905 and OHL’s Steelheads) was changed to the Paramount Centre.
  • In March it was announced that Powerade Centre in Brampton (home of the ECHL’s Beast) would be renamed the CAA Centre.
  • In 2016, the GM Centre in Oshawa (home of the OHL’s Generals) was renamed the Tribute Communities Centre.
  • In 2015, Rexall Centre (annual Rogers Cup tennis tournament) at York University was changed to Aviva Centre.

Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment announced its 10-year partnership with Coca-Cola on Wednesday for the Marlies home. The soft drink giant will donate a suite to non-profit community organizations for all Marlies home games and open the rink for several community skate events.

The venue has been home to the Marlies since 2004, and was the site of the team’s first Calder Cup championship last month in front of a packed house for Game 7 against the Texas Stars.

Known as the CNE Coliseum when it was constructed in 1922, it has hosted concerts from the likes of the Doors, the Who, Vanilla Fudge, Genesis, Circus and Jimi Hendrix.
