Fox News Analyst Slams FBI Investigation: ‘Steele Was Triple Dipping’

Legal expert Gregg Jarrett isn’t holding back when it comes to critiquing major media for glossing over the shortcomings of the widely discredited Steele dossier. He believes this dubious document was pivotal in the FBI’s investigation of Donald Trump’s campaign back in 2016. Jarrett says the FBI leaned heavily on information that wasn’t verified, casting doubts on the whole investigation.

In his comments, Jarrett drew a comparison between the Steele dossier and amateur detective novels, claiming that its questionable allegations pushed the FBI into the Trump-Russia inquiry. He accused Christopher Steele of utilizing the data even after being warned about its dubious nature.

He remarked, “The complete Durham report, including all appendices, should be made public because it includes testimonies from many important individuals, like Igor Danchenko, who was a main source for the Steele dossier.

Jarrett further elaborated, “Danchenko warned Steele about the lack of credibility in the information, telling him it was all made up, yet Steele proceeded to use it anyway. To top it off, Steele was raking in payments from the Hillary campaign, the Democratic National Committee, and the FBI! Honestly, did anyone actually read that document?”

He continued, stating, “And where did he get his info? From someone in the Clinton camp. So, basically, the Clinton team was feeding this unreliable information to Danchenko.”

Danchenko, who significantly contributed to the dossier, was recently named in a partially unredacted FBI memo posted on X. He has been found not guilty of charges related to misleading the FBI.

Jarrett couldn’t contain his amusement, adding, “It’s just hilarious! It’s like something a talentless junior high kid would write. It’s that obvious and ridiculous!”

He concluded by saying, “I really doubt the media ever bothered to read the dossier closely. If they did and still bought into it, they could be considered the most gullible people around.”
