Get ready, folks! Cold Justice is making a comeback and digging into some heavy stuff.

Prosecutor Kelly Siegler is back in action, investigating some truly horrific unsolved murders for the upcoming eighth season of this true crime series on Oxygen, as showcased in an exclusive first look from E! News.

In the fresh trailer released on August 22, Siegler highlights the urgency of their mission: “We’re tackling some of the toughest cold cases in the country and time is slipping away. We’re uncovering new evidence to find the truth.”

Working alongside local law enforcement, Siegler and her dedicated team—including investigators Steve Spingola, Abbey Abbondandolo, Tonya Rider, Terri Hook, Lesa Hodgkins, and Murray Newman—are committed to leaving no stone unturned as they strive to uncover overlooked clues and track down killers who are still roaming free.

What drives their relentless pursuit? The ultimate goal is to bring peace to the families and friends of the victims.

As we see in the trailer, Siegler emphasizes, “The worst thing that can happen is losing someone you love to murder. You manage that sorrow by knowing someone is out here working to find answers. That’s our mission—because if we don’t tackle these cases now, we might never solve them.”

And believe me, these cases are anything but light reading!

This season will look into harrowing instances, including a Navy veteran tragically shot in his own home, the unsolved murder of a Florida grandmother dating back to 1999, and numerous women who vanished under mysterious circumstances.

But as the trailer suggests, Siegler and her team are all about delivering true justice.

The preview gives us a glimpse of a suspect being taken into custody by the police in Kenosha County, Wisconsin, thanks to police body cam footage from earlier this year.

It’s heart-wrenching to see family members react, with one saying, “I never thought this day would come,” and another recalling, “This has been a long time coming.”

Catch a glimpse of what lies ahead in the trailer above.

Cold Justice is set to return on Saturday, September 13, at 8 PM, only on Oxygen.

In the meantime, take a trip down memory lane and revisit some of the most captivating true crime cases that have gripped the world.
