The assault took place on August 11 around 9:30 PM to 10 PM, close to the intersection of Saratoga Avenue and Thille Street. The man reportedly called to the victim as she jogged past.
Despite her efforts to escape, the attacker pursued her, grabbed her, and forced her to the ground, committing the sexual assault before fleeing from the scene on foot.
After returning home, the victim promptly reported the attack to law enforcement, providing a description of her assailant. He is described as a man with tan skin, approximately 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall and of slim build. Witnesses noted that he might have a stutter.
In the wake of the incident, detectives have been canvassing the surrounding neighborhood, speaking with locals and collecting surveillance footage to find leads. The police department has also increased patrols in the area, hoping to catch the suspect, who remains elusive.

Updates will be provided as the investigation unfolds.”
The community is reminded to stay vigilant and aware when outdoors. Whenever feasible, it’s advisable to jog with a friend or in a group and inform someone about your route and intended return time.
