Isabelle Tate, known for her role in 9-1-1: Nashville, tragically passed away at just 23 years old. Her agent confirmed that Isabelle succumbed to a neurological disorder called Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease.

According to Kim McCray, head of Tate’s agency, this rare condition can seriously affect nerve function, leading to muscle weakness. It was reported that she was wheelchair-bound during her battle with the illness, and her character in the series was also depicted in a wheelchair during a scene in a male strip club.

In a statement, McCray shared that Tate “passed away peacefully” this past Sunday.

In her role as Julie on ABC’s rescue drama, which debuted its pilot on October 9, Isabelle demonstrated significant talent, having only recently returned to acting after a break.

McCray mentioned in prior comments that this audition was particularly special for Tate as it represented her first big break.

Her obituary described her as vibrant and determined, “never making excuses for her disability.” Besides acting, Isabelle had a passion for music, often collaborating with friends to write and record songs.

Entertainment Weekly also reported that a tribute to Isabelle will air during next Thursday’s episode of the show.
