Bindi Irwin and her adorable 4-year-old daughter, Grace, were notably absent from the latest episode of Dancing With the Stars, and fans are starting to worry. This week marks their second week in a row away from the show, but despite that, their enthusiasm for brother Robert Irwin remains high.
On Instagram, Bindi shared an update about her family where she mentioned, “Chandler, Grace and I all got a bug, and now I’ve completely lost my voice…” She reassured her followers that they’d be cheering from home for Robert and Witney, who have a stellar dance prepared for Halloween week. “I couldn’t be more proud of their dedication and hard work,” she added.
It seems this family’s been hit with a series of colds. Last week, they missed the program due to Grace’s illness as well. Bindi had previously expressed on Instagram, “We love being in the audience to support Uncle Robert at @dancingwiththestars. Unfortunately, Grace’s under the weather, so we’ll be watching from our living room. 😢”
Fans poured in with supportive messages, showcasing their love. Terri Irwin, Bindi’s and Robert’s mom, even commented, “Sending get well vibes!” She and the family friend Luke Reavley echoed these sentiments by saying they’d miss them while wishing them a speedy recovery.
Another fan sent warm wishes, sharing, “I really hate that you’re all sick! Hope you feel better quickly. The ballroom isn’t as lively without you. But I must say, Robert is doing a fantastic job! Sending hugs and love! ❤️”
Responding to a cute family photo Bindi shared alongside her announcement, one comment read: “Feel better soon! Gracie’s little smile is just adorable. 🥰” The snapshot, taken at Australia Zoo, shows Grace beaming while wearing a pink bucket hat.
Bindi, along with her family, moved to Los Angeles for three months to back Robert in his dancing adventure. Back in September, she said on Instagram, “If you’re curious about who will cheer the loudest, it’s definitely going to be Grace and me! She’s picked out her outfits for the ballroom each week. ❤️🤗”
