Discover why the elite are moving into the serene confines of a 37-home community near Miami. celebrities like Mark Wahlberg are opting for this secluded haven not for its beaches or golf clubs, but for absolute tranquility and tight-knit security featuring former military and police forces.

Stone Creek Ranch, situated in Delray Beach, Florida, has quickly become a coveted address, but it wasn’t always on the radar of the elite. Launched in the early 2000s, the development is harmoniously nestled next to the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge, providing a natural escape.

Senada Adžiem, the luxury sales guru from Douglas Elliman, remarked that homes originally listed around $6 million in the area saw a major shift thanks to her groundbreaking sales tactics. In 2018, she raised the bar by marketing a home for a whopping $20 million, making waves in the market. Although it took two years to finalize the sale, the house changed hands a few more times, ultimately finding a new owner in Wahlberg last month for $37 million after extensive renovations.

The allure of privacy played a significant role in this sale, along with another big deal when Rockstar Energy Drink’s Russ Weiner purchased two residences for $43 million. The homes, sprawling across 2.5-acre lots—each the equivalent of two football fields—are nestled by an artificial lake, ensuring unparalleled discretion for their inhabitants. According to Adžiem, the absence of a golf club means limited traffic in and out of the neighborhood, offering genuine peace.

Moreover, with no oceanfront access, residents can rest easy, free from prying eyes on boats nearby.

A security detail that never sleeps guards the entrance, ensuring that peace of mind fits within the suite of exclusive amenities. With fully armed personnel patrolling around the clock, the added security significantly relieves homeowners of the need to hire private help for protection.

“For those who could easily splurge millions on oceanfront properties, they might still need to enlist their own security81045 because Florida beaches are open to the public,” added Adžiem, highlighting the benefits of a gated community.

The substantial properties in this area lend themselves to exceptional craftsmanship. Wahlberg’s freshly remodeled residence at 9200 Rockybrook Way boasts an impressive 18,206 square feet—including seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms alongside a myriad of leisure facilities. Among them are a home theater, a dedicated cigar lounge, a wine cellar, gym, sauna, guesthouse, and an awe-inspiring resort-style pool of nearly 170,000 gallons.

The developer, Aldo Stark, has integrated luxurious twists like custom agate and onyx elements throughout the fully furnished home, and even tossed in a stocked refrigerator for convenience, shared Adžiem.

“This home at $37 million is an outstanding deal—what you get is beyond worth it! You’re looking at an enviable property; it would cost you $137 million on the coast,” asserted Adžiem.
