Jelly Roll Might Just Take On WWE Star’s Theme Song!

After all the build-up, Jelly Roll stepped into the ring for his debut match at WWE SummerSlam Night One, but it didn’t go quite the way he and Randy Orton had hoped. They faced off against Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul and unfortunately came out on the losing side. However, the journey to SummerSlam solidified a partnership between the musician and the WWE Champion, leading to ongoing connections even after the event.

According to Fightful Select, during their lead-up to the big night, Jelly Roll suggested to Orton that he’d love to do an official cover of Orton’s well-known theme, “Voices.” Orton seemed to be on board with the idea. This conversation happened following various performances by Jelly Roll where he introduced Orton during the SummerSlam promotions. While nothing’s been officially confirmed yet, it seems like many in the WWE are keen on making it happen.

Randy Orton is quite familiar with changing theme songs; he’s had a few in his career. He started with “Burn My Light” after splitting from Evolution and even toyed with “This Fire Burns” by Killswitch Engage for a stretch before it was assigned to CM Punk. However, since late 2008, Orton has made “Voices,” performed by Rev Theory, his go-to entrance music. Over the years, it has become synonymous with his persona. In fact, when WWE approached Orton in 2023 about switching it up, he shot the idea down swiftly.

It remains to be seen whether Jelly Roll’s version of “Voices” could eventually become the official theme for Orton. With SummerSlam now behind them, Orton may very well be charting his own path. Fans are left wondering if he will seek retribution against Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre, or perhaps turn his attention back to chasing the Undisputed WWE Championship currently in the hands of his longtime friend, Cody Rhodes.
