So, the moonlight may be out of her control, but fighting back against rumors is totally LeAnn Rimes’ thing.

In a recent Q&A session on Instagram, LeAnn addressed those chatterboxes suggesting she had a boob job to step into the role of Dixie Bennings in the all-new series ‘9-1-1: Nashville’. When a fan brought up the topic with a cheeky comment about a “boob job”, the 43-year-old artist couldn’t help but react. “Can’t believe I’m talking about my boobs!” she chuckled.

She went on to clarify the situation, saying, “In some of the videos I’ve posted about my character, I’ve got on the most insane push-up bra ever.” Her point was clear: no surgical enhancements were involved in her transformation for the show.

LeAnn joked further, reminiscing about the time she took off that push-up bra. “You wouldn’t believe it—my boobs were up to my chin for a second there before they plummeted!” In short, she reassured fans that her curves had simply existed already.

On October 9th, ‘9-1-1: Nashville’ made its shiny premiere, introducing audiences to a brand-new team of heroic firefighters. The star-st cast includes Chris O’Donnell as Captain Don Hart, Jessica Capshaw as Blythe Hart, Michael Provost as Ryan Hart, and Hunter McVey as Blue Bennings.

Tragically, on the heels of the show’s debut, Isabelle Tate, who portrayed Julie in the pilot, passed away just days after the premiere due to a rare condition.

LeAnn has previously teased that Dixie is a character people will have mixed feelings about. “I think audiences are gonna love to hate her, but they’ll see she has her endearing moments too,” she shared with Us Weekly.

She went on to describe Dixie as a bit of a villain mixed with sweetness, admitting, “She’s definitely manipulative, and she’ll use her son’s love to her advantage.”

Looking back, LeAnn also spilled the tea on how hard she went during auditions for this role.

“It had been ages since I’d acted—my last audition was when I was 17! I thought, ‘If it doesn’t work out, it’s fine,’” she reflected bravely.

Here’s the kicker: for her audition, Dixie is written as a smoker, so Rimes went the extra mile and even got a pack of cigarettes to practice with, despite having never smoked in her life. “I figured I’d act the part outside the room. I brought the cigarettes to the audition thinking, ‘Let’s do this,’” she laughed.

Thanks to her commitment, LeAnn quickly snagged the role after her audition, saying, “I was literally shaking at first, asked to redo my read right away— that’s how eager I was— and before I was even home, they offered me the part!”

In a notably strange but memorable moment, earlier this summer, she made headlines when her teeth unexpectedly fell out during a live show. The incident occurred as she belted out her hit ‘One Way Ticket’ in Washington, leaving her little choice but to dash off stage.

Explaining the mishap in an Instagram video, she said, “I felt a sudden pop in my mouth, and let’s be honest—I’ve had a lot of dental work, so losing a bridge mid-performance wasn’t ideal.”

“I had to come clean to the audience about what happened or I really would have had to leave right then and there. For the rest of the set, I was literally just pushing my teeth back in!”
