Mila Kunis Opens Up About Life as HOA Chair: ‘Just Complaints, No Thanks’

Mila Kunis is searching for some appreciation in her role as the head of her homeowners association (HOA) in Beverly Hills. Yes, you heard that right! The famous actress is leading the charge in her tight-knit neighborhood, which consists of just eight households.

During her talk on the “TODAY” show, Kunis revealed that her job is mostly responding to complaints. “Honestly, it feels like all people do is send in complaints. I get them all day long, and it’s like no one ever stops to say ‘thank you’ for anything,” she shared.

In fact, she once had to text a friend just to nudge them into saying thanks after she handled an issue—clearly a sign of how thankless the job can feel.

Kunis talked about taking on the HOA leadership during an interview with Wall Street Journal. “I’m essentially the go-to person for anything from noise complaints to garbage issues. If something is bothering you, I’m the one you contact,” she explained.

The star of “That ’70s Show” pointed out that her neighbors seem a bit too used to the whole celebrity thing. “They’re just desensitized; it’s L.A., after all,” Kunis commented. “The funniest part is calling someone about road repairs and having them laugh when they realize who’s asking! I’m like, ‘Look, I get how silly this sounds, but can you still help me out?'”

When she’s not busy with HOA duties, Kunis, along with her husband Ashton Kutcher, is living the family life with their two kids. She described her mornings as pretty chill, waking up early to prepare everything for the family. “Every day, I’m up by 6:15 AM, but I hit snooze first. Ashton usually wakes up earlier to work out or I let him catch some Z’s, then I get the kids started with breakfast and lunch before he takes them to the bus. It’s pretty laid-back!”

For Mila, staying fit might mean hitting the gym or doing Pilates, admitting, “Sometimes I wash up, and sometimes I don’t—it’s just how life goes sometimes. Don’t judge me; I might only have time to wipe my armpits.”
