Sharon Osbourne has bravely opened up about the final words of her husband, Ozzy Osbourne, the iconic Black Sabbath frontman, revealing their emotional exchange during his last moments. She shared these details for the first time recently.

Ozzy passed away at the age of 76 in July, following an incredible farewell concert with his band— a group he co-founded back in 1968.

In an emotional interview on her friend Piers Morgan’s show, Uncensored, Sharon, who is 73 years old, recounted how Ozzy, in his final moments, asked her: “Kiss me. Hug me tight.”

It was confirmed in August that his death was due to a heart attack and “acute myocardial infarction,” a medical term indicating tissue death from insufficient blood supply.

As reported by The Sun, Sharon reflected on that fateful morning of July 22, when Ozzy woke her around 4 a.m. Just a short time later, he had passed away.

Sharon shared how she panicked upon finding Ozzy slumped in their home gym, having decided to work out despite his fragile health. She recalled, “He had a heart attack. I ran downstairs, and there he was, and they were trying to resuscitate him, and I’m like, ‘Don’t – just leave him. He’s gone.’”

She added, “I knew instantly he’d gone. They tried to revive him and helicoptered him to the hospital, but deep down I felt he was already lost to us.”

Sharon also revealed that Ozzy had been restless throughout the night, often saying he needed her to “wake up” before ultimately expressing his desire for intimacy—prompting his last words to her.

In a moving moment of clarity before he passed, he had told her, “Kiss me. Hug me tight.”

During the interview, Sharon mentioned that doctors had warned Ozzy that performing his final concert could be deadly.

“He never wanted to die on stage. But he chose to do it on his own terms,” she said.

Sharon also described Ozzy’s funeral procession in Birmingham, comparing it to a surreal dream where she felt like she was “watching from above.”

“My kids could see how much people loved their father. It was an unbelievably warm experience, going back to a hometown that truly cherishes him,” she reflected.

The couple shared three children together—daughters Aimee and Kelly, along with their son Jack.

“Grief has become a part of my life now,” Sharon admitted, as she continues to cope with her sense of loss.

Full highlights from Sharon’s interview with Piers Morgan Uncensored will be available later today (Wednesday, December 10).
