This Christmas, Snoop Dogg is joining Santa Claus to heat up an NFL stadium.

Netflix has just revealed that the legendary rapper will be the halftime act for the NFL Christmas Day clash between the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings.

Snoop Dogg, known offstage as Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., isn’t just famous for his iconic West Coast hip-hop tracks like “Gin and Juice” and “Nuthin’ but a ‘G’ Thang”; he also has his own twist on holiday tunes, having dropped “Santa Claus Goes Straight to the Ghetto” back in 1996.

At 54, Snoop is no stranger to NFL stages. He delivered an unforgettable performance at Super Bowl LVI, sharing the spotlight with heavyweights like Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige, and Eminem in a show highlighting L.A. culture.

Last year, Beyoncé lit up the NFL Christmas halftime show by performing tracks from her “Cowboy Carter” album alongside the Texas Southern University Ocean of Soul marching band, all before kicking off her world tour.
