It looks like it’s the end of the line for Zach Bryan performing in Kansas City.

In his latest social media rants, the country star, who is also a renowned fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, has made it clear that he has no intention of stepping on stage in Kansas City again. Although he has belted out tunes there before, he has yet to grace the iconic Arrowhead Stadium with a performance. Now, it appears that Chiefs fans might have to face the harsh truth that Bryan’s appearances there are a thing of the past.

The trouble all started with a cheeky comment about the Chiefs, who couldn’t secure their third consecutive Super Bowl title after their defeat to the Eagles with a score of 40-22 in Super Bowl LIX.

“Where are all the three-peat supporters from last year?” Bryan poked fun on his X account.

This post ignited quite the debate in the comments section, with one fan pointing out, “The Chiefs won more Super Bowl titles in a 5-year span than the Eagles have in their entire history.” However, this fan failed to mention that before the Super Bowl era, the Eagles racked up three NFL championships, bringing the overall tally to a respectable 5-4 in favor of Philadelphia.

Another user jumped in, pointing out that Bryan was dissing the very franchise that fills up his concerts.

Eagles supporters weighed in on the scenario, stating, ‘If you can’t handle the cold, you’re weak.’

Zach has played in the city during 2021, 2023, and even has plans for 2024, but this latest back-and-forth suggests he won’t be coming back anytime soon. When a fan criticized him, Bryan stood his ground in true Philadelphia fan spirit.

“Please understand, I will never play in Kansas City,” he stated.

The banter didn’t stop there. He continued to throw shade, predicting, “If I played there, I’d be getting taunted right as I finished my show.” This further fueled the fire when a fan retorted, “Remove us from your live album too,” referencing his track “Fifth of May – Live from Kansas City.”

“Consider it done, brother,” Bryan cheekily replied. As of now, that song remains on his digital-only album 24.

He went on to share, “To truly frustrate a Chiefs fan, just play a fair game of football.”

At just 29, Bryan is a passionate Eagles fan who thrilled audiences with two sold-out nights at Lincoln Financial Field last year. He even teamed up with the team to launch a merchandise line mixing his logo with the Eagles brand for his “Quittin’ Time” tour.

This isn’t the first time the singer has ruffled Kansas City fans’ feathers. Previously, he had to deactivate his X account after stirring up controversy aimed at prominent Chiefs enthusiast, Taylor Swift.

“Eagles > Chiefs, Kanye > Taylor,” he tweeted, before rallying support by asking, “Who’s with me?”

Since then, that tweet has been erased, and Bryan even offered an apology, claiming he wasn’t himself when he posted it.

“Don’t drink and tweet,” Bryan warned.
