Food Cinnamon Toast Crunch Is Releasing ‘Cinnadust’ Seasoning That You Can Sprinkle on Every Dessert
For a Smaller Batch of Granola, Your Stovetop Works Just Fine
Cranking your oven to 300°F and staying nearby for nearly an hour is not a summertime activity. Stovetop skillet granola is the answer. We've traded in any wisp of a breeze for thick, still summer air. The AC is cranking. The ice cube trays are empty four times a day. So I am only eating—and cooking—things that are speedy, spicy, or come with some kind of built-in cooling agent.
It’s pretty much a fact at this point thatis one of the most beloved cereals out there. Something about the sweet squares just keeps us coming back for more. Now we can enjoy the cinnamon sugar flavor in way more dishes, because B&G Foods has unveiled the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cinnadust Seasoning.
Regular Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal combines cinnamon and sugar to create a breakfast that is both sweet and savory. With the seasoning, it has notes of vanilla and graham to really bring that sweetness out. You can add it to anything — from cookies, to fresh bread, French toast, ice cream, and even to foods like sweet potatoes. You might be surprised how the seasoning can take your bite to the next level.
Pillsbury ready to bake cookie doughs are changing in one huge way
Raw cookie dough is one of the most iconic childhood desserts (OK, maybe it’s good for adults too). But it isn’t always the safest thing in your kitchen. Flour, when not heat treated, and eggs, when not pasteurized, can cause E. coli and salmonella. But now, you can munch on your chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter cookies whether they’re cooked or uncooked, since Pillsbury’s line of ready to bake cookie dough products are now safe to eat raw.
“This new seasoning is more complex than traditional cinnamon sugar mixes. It consists of the cereal’s famous cinnamon sugar blend, paired with sweet notes of vanilla, caramel, and graham that combine to capture the unmistakable taste of a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal,” press materials read.
The Cinnadust will be available in 13.75-ounce containers for $5.48 beginning on Sept. 1. They’re exclusively available at Sam’s Club nationwide, a PR rep confirmed to Best Products. However, you’ll be able to get the Cinnamon Toast Crunch seasoning in other grocery stores and online retailers in early 2021.
As much as we love Cinnamon Toast Crunch in its cereal form, it’s clear that it can be coupled with so much more. If you need us, we’ll be waiting for the Cinnadust to come out and then baking with it until further notice.
