Varun elaborated, explaining, “The only investments I understood were fixed deposits. It’s just the regular middle-class mindset. I realize how powerful money is, and if something holds that power, it’s vital to use it wisely.”
He emphasized, “Instead of merely enhancing my own lifestyle, it’s far more impactful to change someone else’s life.”
At 34, he shared a telling experience about his expensive watch purchase. “When I think about money spent on a watch that costs Rs 30 lakh or even Rs 40 lakh, I can’t help but feel that this sum can help transform lives for generations. I remember once buying a watch priced around three lakhs, and that weighed heavily on my conscience. There are certainly people who buy even pricier items, but for me, it was a heavy burden.”
Varun further reflected, “I grew up with friends who faced tough times, and some of them are still working delivery jobs. I just can’t think of walking in front of them wearing luxurious items. It feels disrespectful to flaunt my wealth around those who are struggling, but that’s just how I feel—I’m in no position to judge others.”.”
