Kelly LeBrock is living her best life, fully embracing her decision to leave the chaotic world of Hollywood for a more tranquil lifestyle on a ranch. This iconic star from Weird Science recently made a rare public appearance, and she’s feeling fantastic about her new chapter.

While chatting with the Daily Mail at the Vanderpump Dog Gala, she expressed her satisfaction with the simpler pleasures of ranch life in Santa Ynez, California. Dressed in a stylish cowboy hat and personalized boots, LeBrock shared that she’s swapped the sparkle of Hollywood for the serenity of her ranch.

“I don’t go out much anymore—I guess I’ve turned into a bit of a recluse, but I really enjoy it. I traded diamonds for dirt and now I’ve got a huge ranch where I care for horses, cattle, dogs, and chickens all by myself,” she revealed.

Her ranch, which she affectionately calls her “little gem,” sits by a lovely lake. While she’s mostly hands-on, she does have help once a week for their upkeep. Besides indulging in her dream life surrounded by nature, LeBrock is also developing her own line of animal skincare products.

“I’m launching skincare specifically for animals because I adore them. It’s truly remarkable wound care—it’s the best you’ll ever find. There’s even a line for humans. After battling skin cancer, which left a pretty big hole in my skin, it’s all healed now and you can’t even tell it once existed,” she explained, reflecting on her previous health struggles.

Kelly first caught the spotlight in the ’80s with her role in The Woman in Red, and she later became a household name with Weird Science, alongside Anthony Michael Hall and Ilan Mitchell-Smith. She starred with her then-husband, Steven Seagal, in the action-thriller Hard to Kill in 1990, before stepping away from Hollywood following their much-publicized divorce after nine years of marriage in 1996.

In a 2021 interview with Fox News, she mentioned that their public separation, along with her concerns over raising their three children in Hollywood, were crucial in her decision to leave. “Hollywood isn’t a place I wanted for my kids. My divorce was widely reported, and honestly, I’ve never been keen on the Hollywood lifestyle. I’ve always preferred a hands-on, outdoor life,” LeBrock shared.

She also noted that not everyone is suited for life in the spotlight—definitely a sentiment that resonates with her given her rise to fame happened at a very young age.
