Kendall Jenner, the iconic supermodel, is sparking a lot of chatter by hinting at her desire to exit the whirlwind life of a celebrity. She’s eyeing a transition to a much more tranquil and grounded way of living.
Now at 29 years old, Kendall, who erupted into the public eye at the tender age of 11 thanks to the hit show *Keeping Up With the Kardashians*, is shifting her focus from being famous to living a life filled with serenity.
In a candid chat with Vogue alongside her friend Gigi Hadid, she boldly stated, “I swear to God, I’m going to stop everything and just design homes. I’m not kidding.” Her decision comes from a desire to break free from the star-st lifestyle of Los Angeles.
Though she appreciates her home in LA, Kendall mentioned her longing for more freedom in her daily routine, expressing, “I love my space in LA, but I also really love the simple life. I just want to wake up and throw on a bathing suit or some sweatpants, skip the makeup, and just embrace my day without any fuss.”
The reality star revealed her yearning for a more ordinary existence, despite all her luxury. Spending time with horses has turned into a favorite pastime, allowing her to step away from the demanding glare of fame. “I love to feel normal. Competing at horse shows in my regular gear, helmet and all, allows me to be just another competitor,” she remarked.
On *Anything Goes* podcast hosted by Emma Chamberlain, Kendall opened up about her adventures growing up under public scrutiny. She recounted balancing school with their television life, saying, “Until a certain point, we were going to regular schools, then I switched to homeschooling for my last two years. It wasn’t trivial, but it made things feel somewhat normal even with the TV show going on in our lives.”
Kendall also takes a moment to show gratitude for her supportive childhood, explaining how her family dynamics contributed positively to her life. “Kylie and I were fortunate to have stability, love, and a solid support network filled with great friends.” She acknowledged that having older siblings guide them created an authentic footing for their journey.
Since skyrocketing to fame in the early 2000s, Kendall has embraced every facet of her career, from reality TV to high-fashion catwalks and many magazine features. Nevertheless, she now leans toward pulling back, directing her attention toward personal interest in interior design and focusing on leading a life that prioritizes centeredness and serenity over constant media spotlight.
With these new goals, Kendall is set on curating her life her way, balancing what truly matters for her outside of the continuous high-stakes celebrity lifestyle.
