Vogue Williams recently revealed her aim to spend more time in Dublin after purchasing a gorgeous coastal retreat in Howth.
This TV star has affectionately d the place her “dream home,” cherishing her precious moments away from the fast-paced life of London. Nestled in a forest and surrounded by vibrant green foliage, the property promises a tranquil escape.
The 39-year-old Vogue mentioned one of the key reasons for choosing this abode is its seclusion. She has expressed her desire for her three kids—Theodore, Otto, and Gigi—to enjoy time in Ireland. Plus, she has managed to secure Irish passports for all of them. However, it seems her husband, Spencer Matthews, felt a bit left out after he was unable to get one for himself.
A Perfect ‘Forever Home’
Vogue splashed out €2.8 million on what she calls her “forever home” in Howth, hiring designer Geri O’Toole to create a stunning interior. According to Dublin Live, the family typically spends about three weeks every summer, along with ten days during the Christmas period, mid-terms, and Easter breaks in Ireland.
In a chat with The Times, Vogue shared: “We’re looking to spend as much time as possible over here. I’m so fond of it and the kids are loving it as well,” the Irish Mirror reported.
While she’s often called this spot her “forever home”, Vogue hinted she’s not entirely opposed to selling it someday. With a playful laugh, she quipped, “I’d sell anything for the right price.”
Raised in the nearby Portmarnock, Vogue has joyfully noted that her little ones are starting to make friends in Howth. She expressed her hopes, stating, “I want our kids to experience this place and embrace their Irish roots too.”
“Our new home is a sanctuary for us, an escape we can call our forever home. The kids absolutely love it and have already made adorable friends here,” she added.
Vogue recently gave her social media followers a sneak peek of her new space, showcasing an eye-catching pink kitchen that she adores, stating, “Look how beautiful this kitchen looks. I’m just obsessed with it!”
She also showcased the calming vibes of her stylishly revamped living room, which comes complete with new furnishings. While Vogue relishes the peaceful environment her new digs offer, she’s only about 25 minutes away from the heart of Dublin.
For reference, standard property prices in Howth tend to float around €650,000. This beautiful coastal village is a haven for hiking enthusiasts and is part of the popular Dublin Coastal Trail, featuring the historic Howth Castle.
Fans of the past season of Made in Chelsea will also recognize Spencer, who previously shared his affection for Howth on Instagram: “Here’s to falling in love with a place so genuine and sweet, where happiness blooms everywhere and joy is discovered anew. My darling Howth will forever hold a place in my heart as I reminisce about our love story and cherish it daily.”
