Suspect in custody after chase during morning rush hour on Eastex Freeway
Deputies chased a suspect early Friday in northeast Houston during the morning rush hour commute. The chase started before 6 a.m. when the suspect allegedly fled from a bank near FM 2100 and FM 1960. Watch raw video of the pursuit here Harris County Sheriff's Deputies responded to an alarm call at the bank's ATM when the suspect, who was in a white Ford F-250 pickup, refused to pull over. Air 11 was overhead for the resulting pursuit on the Eastex Freeway.The suspect went northbound on I-69/Eastex Freeway past the Kingwood area before turning around and heading back toward town.As of 6:15 a.m. the chase was near the 610 Loop still moving southbound on I-69.

A chase suspect was apprehended after he tried to get away by going the wrong way on a major freeway overnight, Houston police said.
© Provided by TEGNA Inc.Officers with the Houston Police Department tried to stop a driver in Chevrolet SUV at about 2:30 a.m. Friday. The driver went from Airline, turning northbound onto the southbound frontage road lanes along I-45 North.
Houston TranStar cameras showed the driver then got on the mainlanes of the freeway traveling in the wrong direction before he got out and ran away.
© Provided by TEGNA Inc.Police were able to locate the suspect east of the freeway a few minutes later, near Nording and Tidwell. He was taken into custody without further incident.
3 Killed After Police Pursuit Ends In Crash On 101 Freeway In Echo Park
A fourth person was rushed to a hospital in critical condition. No names were released.A Sig Alert was in effect. Park ranger stabbed on SF freeway after trying to assist motorist .
An on-duty San Francisco park ranger was stabbed by an enraged motorist Sunday morning in the city’s South of Market neighborhood. According to a San Francisco Police spokesperson, the ranger was in his vehicle when he witnessed a driver yelling at other motorists in the vicinity of the 7th Street off-ramp of I-80 at 7:04 a.m. The ranger followed the suspect vehicle onto the Central Freeway, where the suspect vehicle crashed into the center divider of the connector ramp. The ranger pulled up to offer assistance, at which time the suspect lunged at the ranger with a knife and stabbed him.
