  Police investigating shooting in West Seattle; 1 injured with gunshot wound to head Police were investigating the Sunday morning shooting of a man on West Seattle's Alki Beach after he was found with a gunshot wound to the head. The 21-year-old man survived, and Det. Patrick Michaud said in a statement the injuries weren't life-threatening. He was transported to Harborview Medical Center. Officers responded to the scene at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday after reports of someone shot in the 2600 block of Alki Avenue Southwest, Michaud said.Witnesses told police the victim was sitting at a fire pit when a group of people came up to him. There was a brief fight until shots were fired and the group scattered, Michaud said.

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The Cleveland Division of Police released a statement that Fourth District detectives and officers arrested four juveniles they believe are responsible for over 80 break-ins on Cleveland’s southeast side, Shaker Heights and Cleveland Heights.

Detectives continue to investigate the possibility that the juveniles were involved in other break-ins in East Cleveland and downtown.

“You create such consternation for so many people to walk out in the morning....to see their lives strew across the parking lot. It’s not fair,” said Brendan Ring, owner of Nighttown Restaurant.
