If you like angular vehicles, Lego Australia has you covered with its new Cybertruck competitor.
Elon Musk's with much fanfare last week, but it has some issues. It's not available yet. It costs just under $40,000 for the cheapest version. Its supposedly can be shattered. Perhaps you would like to go the more economical route and embrace Lego's version instead.
Lego Australia shared its vision for aon Tuesday. "The evolution of the truck is here. Guaranteed shatterproof," the toy company wrote.
Elon Musk confirms Tesla's 'Cyberquad' as a Cybertruck accessory
Other than unveiling Tesla's new low-polygon-count pickup, Elon Musk also introduced an electric ATV at the event last night. Dubbed the Cyberquad, Musk confirmed on Twitter today that the two-person ATV will be available "first" as an option for Cybertruck buyers. At the event, the four-wheeler rode into the back of a Cybertruck as the truck's adaptive suspension leaned back for easier loading, and then the ATV plugged in for charging right there in the bed.
Lego's Cybertruck snark attack features a glowingly photographed Lego brick sitting on a four-wheeled platform. It's simple. It's cheap. You can build one for yourself.
Just don't try to pit your Lego truck in a tug-of-war test. The plastic-brick-on-wheels can repel bare feet with ease, but it doesn't have much in the way of torque or towing capacity.
Tesla surprised with quarterly profit
For company founder Elon Musk, it is a triumph: In the third quarter, Tesla has written contrary to all expectations black. The shareholders reacted enthusiastically - and are looking forward to further major projects.
It was a $ 143 million surprise: the profit was so high in the third quarter of this year. This was announced by the company from the Palo Alto, California after the US market close. Tesla boss Elon Musk had always promised his shareholders that it would happen - but analysts and investors remained very skeptical given the high expansion cost that they could actually deliver on that promise.
The Top-News of the MSN-readers:
The euphoria was accordingly high following the release of the latest results. The Tesla share gained up to 20 percent in value on the stock market.water in the wine
The triumph fades on closer inspection: Tesla's result was positive, but still 54 percent lower than a year ago.
In addition, Tesla's revenues fell sharply. Despite a record of 97,000 cars delivered, sales fell 8 percent to $ 6.3 billion. This is the first time since 2012 that Tesla's revenues have declined year-on-year.
The fact that the group nevertheless made a profit, was because Musk this time operated a little more sparingly. Tesla emphasized that operating expenses in the past quarter were as low as ever since the launch of hopes for Model 3 in 2017.New large-scale projects cost money
Whether this cost control will last long in the face of Musk's ambitious and complex goals, however, is another matter. Tesla's next major projects are already in full swing.
Musk announced that the construction of a factory in China is proceeding faster than planned and that the E-SUV Model Y is expected to go into mass production by the summer of 2020. This will probably appeal to investors. In addition, Musk was in the letter to the shareholders "highly confident" that Tesla 2019 will achieve its self-imposed annual target of more than 360,000 vehicles sold.turn made?
experts believe that the current annual report will be a turning point from the perspective of investors. Tesla has been on the stock exchange for some time a difficult position. The share has fallen since the beginning of the year by 24 percent, although the market is overall clearly in the plus. But after the first quarter without a loss in the current year Musk can at least temporarily trump.
The Letter to Shareholders also mentions "fundamental progress in our operational efficiency": despite lower prices by far the best-selling and most favorable Tesla Model 3, profit margins have improved.

Tesla's electric ATV should launch at the same time as the Cybertruck .
Tesla has said precious little about its Cyberquad electric ATV, but it's now sharing one of the most important details: when you can expect to get one. Elon Musk told Twitter followers that Tesla was planning to release the ATV at the same time as the Cybertruck, or late 2021. Pricing, performance and other details are still unknown, but you won't be deprived of electric off-roading if you're an early adopter. Musk also toyed with the prospect of designing an electric dirt bike for those who prefer two-wheeled adventures, although he didn't say how serious he was about the prospect. You can forget about an electric motorcycle, though.
