In the fourth quarter of a terrible game for the Lakers, James committed an egregious turnover.

He somehow, on an inbounds play after a Suns bucket, bounced a pass off the back of the backboard and out of bounds.

The only question to ask here is: How?

Honestly though, it's understandable why James would be frustrated.

One night after the Lakers had a chance to beat the Bucks where Los Angeles turned the ball over three critical times in the waning minutes which led to a loss, the Lakers went into the fourth quarter down 17 to the 12-win Suns.

That hasn’t made the experience for Lakers fans any less satisfying at the Staples Center, especially with LeBron James starring for the proud franchise. For at least this one Lakers fan, that was taken to a whole new level during Wednesday night’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans. Not only did said Lakers fan enjoy a comfortable seat in the house, he was called on to take a half-court shot for a cool $100,000. Needless to say, no one really expected him to make it. Surprise. Phoenix was probably upset it was winning this game as it has hopes of drafting Zion Williamson and every loss matters especially with how bad the Knicks are.

But, James really wasn't happy and it showed — it's hard to blame him.

LeBron James on struggling Lakers: 'We like where we are'.
LeBron James’ impression of where the Los Angeles Lakers stand appears to have changed in a matter of days, as the superstar is now preaching outright positivity instead of barely veiled concern. With the Lakers set to face the New Orleans Pelicans Wednesday night, James opted to express faith that he and his teammates can get things turned around and qualify for the postseason, despite the Lakers having dropped two straight and seven of 10. ESPN’s Dave McMenamin reports that James expressed some statement of confidence in the Lakers eight times during his seven-minute session with the media. “We like where we are,” he said in his opening answer.
