President Donald Trump has spoken up about a “horrendous shooting” that shocked a Michigan community, resulting in one fatality and nine injuries on September 28. This incident occurred during a Sunday service at a Mormon church in Grand Blanc, a suburb near Flint.
According to a post on Truth Social, Trump mentioned that the FBI acted swiftly at the scene, and they will be in charge of the federal investigation moving forward, promising to assist state and local authorities fully.
In his message, Trump expressed concern, stating, “The suspect is deceased, but much remains unknown. This looks like yet another targeted attack on Christians here in America.”

He further vowed that the Trump Administration would keep the public informed. “Please pray for the victims and their families. This cycle of violence in our nation must come to an end, NOW!” he emphasized.
The shooting erupted while hundreds were gathered for worship, as police reported that a 40-year-old man drove his car into the church before opening fire.
Sheriff’s officials confirmed that ten people suffered gunshot injuries, with one unfortunate casualty. It’s also suspected that the assailant may have ignited a fire within the church premises.
The shooter was confronted by officers and died at the scene, while the fire has been put out. Authorities assure that there is no continuing threat to the community, although the investigation is still ongoing.
Grand Blanc Township Supervisor Scott Bennett shared his sorrow at a press conference after the event, stating, “We are devastated. Such violence is unheard of in our area, and our hearts ache that this happened in Grand Blanc. We will do everything possible to support the victims and the families impacted as we navigate through this tragedy together.”
