I’ve spent over 15 years diving into the world of media technology. Starting at Latakoo, where I was among the first employees and sat as the founding CTO, I helped create the video-gathering platform used by various news outlets, including NBC News. Later on, while working with Matter Ventures, I guided media startups and collaborated with partners such as KQED, PRX, the Associated Press, and the New York Times as they faced innovation challenges.
My journey continued at The 19th and ProPublica, where I had the opportunity to lead tech efforts right in the heart of newsrooms.
Now it’s time for you to ask your burning questions about the future of news technology, and how everything operates behind the scenes.
What do you want to know?
While I can’t speak for any of those organizations, this is a space just for me to share my unique views, clarify incidents of how news unfolds, and perhaps assist you with any of your organizational queries.
If you’ve got a question for me, drop it here, and I might answer it in a future post!
If you’re a leader in your own newsroom or non-profit realm, I’ve set aside some slots for one-on-one chats about your technology strategies and hurdles. You can set up a call with me here using Calendly.
