Ingredients for 4 people:

2 large red peppers

olive oil

4 cloves of garlic

2 avocado

2 limes

pepper and salt

8 slices of whole grain bread


Preheat the oven to 250 degrees top heat / grill. Halve the peppers and place the cut surface on a baking sheet covered with baking paper. Slide into the oven on the top rail and keep an eye on it. When the skin of the peppers is black, take them out of the oven, put them in a bag, knot them and set them aside. This will make skinning easier later.

When the pepper has cooled, it can be skinned wonderfully. Cut the peeled peppers into broad strips, put them in a bowl, salt, pepper, add 2 cloves of garlic and a little olive oil and marinate them.

Halve the avocados, remove the core and hollow them out with a spoon. Press the remaining two cloves of garlic and mash them with the meat of the avocado using a fork. Season with salt, pepper and the juice of the limes.

Toast the bread slices, brush with the guacamole, top with the grilled peppers, serve and enjoy.
