First of all, she said you need to get a large wooden platter to put everything on it. Jules's platter is from MCM House.

'Today, we are plattering hamburgers, because I don't know about you guys, but in my household, everyone likes something different on their burger,' Jules said.

Jules Sebastian shares slow-cooked lasagne recipe from their mansion's kitchen.

Jules Sebastian (pictured) stunned fans with her mouthwatering slow cooked lasagne recipe she shared to Instagram on Monday- which left them Jules has been isolating at her Maroubra mansion with Guy and their children Hudson, eight, and Archer, six since the coronavirus outbreak in March.

The mum said she typically makes the burger platter for a weekend dinner or a Sunday lunch, when the kids want a bit of a treat but she still wants to cook from home.

The first step of the meal is assemble the meat and bread.

'I start with the burgers and these brioche buns from Woolies,' Jules said.

'The best part about this recipe is you only have to cook one thing - the patties - and then everything else is just prep and chop and place.'

Jules cooked the burgers on the barbecue on one side and then the other, before she placed the cheese on top of the patties to melt it.

INGREDIENTS

Burger patties

Two different types of sliced cheese (vintage and cheddar)

Baby cos lettuce

Tomatoes

Brioche buns

Beetroot

Pickles

Aioil

Barbecue sauce

Burger sauce

French fries

Red onion

METHOD

1. Chop up all of the vegetables that need to be prepped, including the lettuce, tomatoes, beetroot and red onion.

2. Once you have arranged all of the veg into various dishes, cook your beef patties on the barbecue.

3. Try to cook one side before the other, flipping just once, and then add your sliced cheese while they are still cooking to melt it.

4. Cook some French fries on the side.

Once the burgers and cheese are cooked, Jules said she places them on a sheet of baking paper on top of her platter.

She then arranged the brioche buns towards the back end of the platter and put some sauces in circular dishes on the other side of the platter.

'You can use whatever sauce of your choice, but you know us, we have everything in our fridge,' Jules said.

On this occasion, the mum laid out burger sauce, barbecue sauce and aioli.

'Then, all you need to do is lay out your dishes of veg,' Jules said.

This time, she has opted for chopped up beetroot, tomato, baby cos lettuce, pickles and red onion.

Jules also added some hot chips to the family-friendly dish.

'Guys, this tastes incredible. Do this at home,' the mum said when she tried it.

What are Jules Sebastian's top parenting tricks?

* Hide vegetables in their meals and whizz them together so they're getting their veggies without even knowing it.

* Make smoothies and include as many fruits and vegetables as possible.

* Make healthy eating fun by getting the kids involved with the cooking.

* Keep feeding your children foods as persistence is key and they will eventually grow to like something.

This isn't the first cooking video Jules has shared in recent months easier.

Previously, the mum-of-two has tried her hand at everything from lasagne to breakfast frittatas.

Jules also shared her tips and tricks to help her two children to eat healthier.

'I'm a big fan of hiding vegetables,' she told FEMAIL.

'Even on Monday night, I whizzed together all of this carrot, broccoli and onion and hid it in a spaghetti bolognese.

'They all hoovered it up without even realising there might be something they didn't like.'

Jules also said she makes sure to give the two boys smoothies - which they love - but instead of just putting fruit in them, she also packs them full of veggies and milk, too.

'I'll throw an avocado in there and try to make the process of eating healthily as fun as possible,' she said.

She will involve the boys in the kitchen and keep feeding them something they think they don't like until they start eating it.

'Keep putting something they like on a plate and eventually they will eat it,' she said.
