You Might Not Want To Switch To A Vegan Diet Overnight

You Might Not Want To Switch To A Vegan Diet Overnight Staying vegan is harder than going vegan…'A vegan diet can be hard to start, mostly because you don't know what to eat,' says plant-based nutritionist, Emily Wood. Some new vegans don't choose the healthiest options (looking at you, super-processed meat alternatives), which may cause fatigue and irritability. Plus, ditching some of your favourite foods (hey there, cheese) could leave you feeling deprived, and not so keen on persisting, she explains.

Yazmin Oukhellou has candidly opened up on forking out £3,000 for a Brazilian bum lift and liposuction surgery.

The Only Way Is Essex star, 26, said she would “love to be the UK’s Kim Kardashian” after undergoing the surgery in secret recently.

Following her procedure Yaz, who was recently spotted amongst stars who partied in Dubai, has candidly opened up on the surgery and her decisions behind going under the knife.

Speaking in an interview with new! magazine, Yaz revealed: “I had laser liposuction and BBL [Brazilian bum lift]. They took out the fat from my tummy and put it onto my hips to give it that ‘hip dip’ shape.”

Brunette beauty Yaz opened up on the BBL as she said: “I was in surgery for quite a few hours.

“When I woke up I wasn’t in any pain, but when the medication started to wear off I was a bit like, ’S**t! This is really, really painful!’ When the nurse came to change the dressings, that’s when it was really sore. I also didn’t realise that I’d have to wear a garment for ages.”

Yaz added: “It’s like a corset that you have to wear to keep everything in place. It sticks the skin to the new cells. I had to wear that for six weeks.”

Yaz, who recently reportedly moved in with boyfriend James Lock after reconciling, explained: “It’s still sore to touch a couple of months after. It’s quite a traumatic procedure.

“I really don’t want people to think I’m promoting it to young girls. I had certain areas on my body that I couldn’t get rid of in the gym, like my hip dips. My only option was surgery.

“But you do put your body through a lot of trauma and stress. It’s not something I’m encouraging people to go and get, but it’s made me feel a lot better in a swimsuit.”

TOWIE babe Yaz admitted that she was worried about the operation but said “everything went really smoothly”.

She added: “I’m very OCD and worry a lot anyway, so when they told me about the aftercare that I’d need to do at home I went above and beyond. I made sure I had a nurse who came around to give me special lymphatic massages to help the healing process. For me, it went really well, but I think that’s because I did listen. A lot of people go and get surgery and then they’re out showing it off a week later. I really did listen to the recovery and my body.”

Make your own vegan mousse au chocolat from simple ingredients

We'll show you our favorite variant of vegan mousse au chocolat. Let's start right away, because you must have the ingredients at home. Even as a child, creamy desserts were my favorite. But unfortunately they often contained a lot of cream, butter or egg whites. I am now vegan and avoid all animal products. But not on delicious desserts - and certainly not on mousse au chocolat.

Yaz has already had cosmetic surgery on her nose and breasts and when quizzed about why she’s gone under the knife again, she opened up on her self esteem issues.

She confessed: “Coming into this industry has been quite difficult. I know we all say not to listen to trolls, but it’s really difficult not to. This time around people were commenting on my photos and asking if I was pregnant. I was making out like it didn’t bother me, but it did.”

When asked if she suffers from low self-esteem she added: “Yeah, definitely. Self-esteem for me has been a really big thing. I’m always trying to be positive and build up other women’s self-esteem.

“Whereas I think sometimes I should be looking at my own a little bit more, because self-esteem has been an issue from a young age. I’ve always been insecure about my looks and fitting in.

“That’s why my mum was upset when she knew I wanted to get surgery, she tried to talk me out of it. But I’m very strong-minded and I’m always going to do what I want to do. I now need to realise that I can’t fix everything with surgery. I need to fix myself within.”

Yazmin was also quizzed on if trolling was also a factor in her decision to have the BBL, she said: “Definitely. If I wasn’t in this industry, I don’t know if I’d have got it done. It is hard. I make out the comments don’t bother me, but they do.”
