Holby City viewers found Jac Naylor's scenes hard as her devastating storyline continued on tonight's episode (December 10).

Fans have seen Jac (Rosie Marcel) struggling with her mental health over the last few weeks.

In Tuesday's instalment, Jac got admitted to a psychiatric unit in Merrywell following her nervous breakdown in last week's episode.

After she woke up, Jac started wandering around the clinic's corridors when she bumped into a patient, but moments later she was nowhere to be seen. Was Jac's mind playing games with her sanity?

"When did you last see your daughter?" the old lady asked Jac.

Later on, Fletch (Alex Walkinshaw) paid Jac a visit in an attempt to convince her that the treatment was for her own benefit and her daughter Emma's.

"You're were hurting yourself and you were frightening Emma," Fletch told Jac. But the conversation didn't go as well as Fletch expected when Jac got angry with him for confining her in a clinic.
