Katie Price lovingly looked at her son Harvey and held hands with him as he was discharged from hospital.

The 18 year old had been in hospital for 10 days, including a worrying stay in intensive care.

Harvey, who is blind and autistic and has Prader-Willi syndrome, was rushed to hospital on 12 July after suffering from breathing difficulties and a high temperature.

Yesterday, Tuesday 21 July, Harvey was released from hospital and doting mum Katie, 42, kept a watchful eye on him as the pair headed home hand-in-hand.

Harvey wore a bright green T-shirt and red shorts with trainers, along with a pair of ear muffs.

Mother-of-five Katie wore a bright green jumper with leopard print shorts and trainers, while she also donned a protective face mask.

The star carried a paper bag from the pharmacy and an iPad in one hand, while she held onto Harvey with her other hand.

Katie is over the moon that Harvey is out of hospital, telling The Sun Online: "It feels like Christmas. I can't stop smiling.

"The day started badly but it's ending as the best day ever."

Katie had previously revealed her fears for her son after he suffered from breathing problems and a high temperature, describing his symptoms as “dangerous”.

Speaking exclusively to new magazine , Katie shared her anguish over only being able to see her son for a few hours a day while he was in hospital due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“Harvey is such a brave little boy, but it’s been tough,” Katie bravely revealed. “He’s taken a turn for the better, but he’s still in intensive care.”

She added: “The worst thing for me as a mum is that there are only certain hours you’re allowed to go into the hospital because of coronavirus – it’s horrid.

“It’s awful seeing him lying there with all the tubes in him. And when they put him into intensive care, he was ill but he still managed to shout, ‘I want my mummy.’ I was standing outside the room with Junior and they wouldn’t let me in. It was horrible.”
