I Took Cold Showers For Two Weeks For My Hair – & The Results Surprised Me
As if the last year wasn’t punishing enough, the latest transformative trend to make the rounds on TikTok and Twitter is the time-honoured cure-all: a cold shower. It’s a fable as old as beauty blogging itself — cold water apparently makes your hair shinier, stronger and voluminous. But that’s not the only thing this remedy is said to do. A quick Google search will tell you that cold showers are capable of all manner of things, from ridding you of muscle soreness and blemishes to energising and reducing your chances of getting ill. At any rate, if social media gurus and the whisperings of comments sections are to be believed, it’s a surprise we ever invented the hot tap.
The Essex native went on to explain that she believes she has already had coronavirus and didn't get too ill with it.
"I think I have had Covid and if I was to get ill I would treat it how I would treat it.
"I didn't die from it. It is like getting a cold. I wouldn't get the flu jab either. I don't want to inject myself with something I don't know the long-term effects.
"I am not going to say you should have it. Each to their own. Good luck. That is my personal opinion though," Lauren stated.
Lauren also said that she has a card that means she's exempt from wearing a mask as they make her panic.
She said: "I don't believe in masks - I am not going to get into the subject."
Piers Morgan furiously lashed out at Lauren on Wednesday's episode of Good Morning Britain.
He said: "On the day we discovered a million people have the virus and we're desperate for a vaccination, she said she doesn't agree with masks and won't be taking the vaccine if it's given to her."
An angry Piers later said: "I mean these people are absolute halfwits... they're not even halfwits, they're quarter-wits!"
You may need to start wearing better face masks .
You might even consider wearing two masks instead of one. What does that mean? Many experts are recommending people wear fitted surgical masks, a cloth mask over a surgical mask, multi-layer cloth masks with a non-woven filter, or a well-fitted N95 mask.
