Choosing a new hairstyle doesn't have to be difficult. Infact, we have made it as simple as possible for you so you never have a bad hair day again. When looking to get a new hairstyle , you can change your hairstyle with a simple blowdry, or with a drastic haircut from long to short. Either way, we'll show you what will suit you best by giving you the possibility to try on hairstyles before you make a change. All of our hairstyles have suitability information such as face shape, hair texture, age and complexion.

These hairstyles work in any hair length. Long shaggy hairstyles are great with layers; medium shaggy ones give you disheveled look, and the short ones are sassy and sexy. The best thing about shaggy hairstyles is excellent for thick and thin hair type. They give volume to your thin hair type whereas for the thick kind it settles down the frizz. With age, comes grace but also invites hair fall. Hairfall leads to thin hair type. That means you usually end up tying your hair into a pony or a bun. You don’t have the guts to show off your hair and think that no hairstyle will suit you .

Best hair style for your face shape

Rectangle

Women with rectangular faces should opt for layered cuts, rounded fringes or soft and wavy curls, as the goal is to soften the appearance of a sharp jaw. For longer hair, try some soft feathering, but don't have your hair too long as it can elongate your face.

Square

Shorter styles work particularly well on women with square faces, especially short layered bobs with side-sweeping fridges. Feeling daring? Try a bold pixie cut, which will lengthen your face and draw attention to your eyes. For long hair, try lots of layers as they will soften your bone structure.

Oval

Oval faces are perhaps one of the most forgiving when it comes to hair cuts, and anything from a blunt bob to shoulder-length curls or a layered long 'do will suit you.

Most of the hairstyles suit oval faces. As you said you can style your long hair as per your choice. Traditionally in hairdressing we are taught that oval faces suit any style , that being said if you feel uncomfortable with your forehead therefore wishing to hide it the logical answer would be any style would suit you …. But since I’m guessing this could be a new style for you , I’d suggest trying a Brigitte Bardot style fringe first and gradually have more cut in when you get use to fringe and maintenance.

Heart

Heart shaped faces are as they sound, a larger forehead leading down to a defined chin and cheekbones. Look for styles that increase the width of the bottom half of your face, such as waves or curls starting below the ear or a pixie cut with a side parting.

Diamond

People with diamond-shaped faces have high cheekbones and pointed chins, which are best suited to mid- or long-layered cuts, styled in loose waves. A chin-length bob is also a good option to explore

Why age shouldn't influence your hairstyle

When it comes to finding a style, don't let your age stop you from making a bold decision, and don't feel like you have to chop it all off because you've turned another year older.

'It really is all about the condition, and when beautifully kept, the hair can be an enhancing accessory to your look way past the old thinking of cutting it short when you turn 40,' advises Michael.

The blunt bob is the perfect summer haircut

The blunt bob is the perfect summer haircut Here's what to know before you go shortChic and timeless, the blunt bob is a great way to ensure all of your lockdown-induced split ends are gone, giving your hair a really healthy fresh start for the summer. Typically hitting just above the shoulder, it frames the face beautifully and is a low-maintanence style that is incredibly flattering.

But before you get a drastic new cut, make sure you're feeling confident and have done your research. As Michael says, 'The New Year is a great time to start fresh. Collect images of looks that you like and take them into your stylist for discussion.'
