Audi continues the development work on the facelifted 2020 Q7, which is set to adopt a more dynamic look that’s more in line with the brand’s latest models. The exterior of the 2020 Audi Q 7 will feature a redesigned front fascia with new headlights, grille and bumper, in similar style to those found in the Q8.

The Audi Q2 SUV will receive a midlife facelift late next year, bringing it closer in appearance to other recently updated Audi models. Under the skin, improvements will be made to the interior and the engine range to keep the Q2 competitive against rival premium small SUVs, including the BMW X2, MINI Countryman and Mercedes GLB.
Styling revisions are concentrated on the front and rear ends of the car. In line with the Audi A1 and updated Audi A4, the headlights now have blocky LED daytime running lights, and sit either side of a reshaped grille with several small air intakes at the top. The headlights themselves are very slightly different and should be LED units as standard, while the three lower air intakes are all going to be freshened up too. The rear end will get a tweaked bumper design.

The Audi Q2’s engine range is likely to feature the same engines as the pre-facelift model, but at least some of them will get mild-hybrid technology to reduce emissions. Of the three petrol and two diesel engines currently offered, we expect the 148bhp 2.0-litre ‘35 TFSI’ and ‘35 TDI’ versions to feature a 48-volt electrical system, and the 187bhp 2.0-litre ‘40 TFSI’ may get this technology too.

The 48-volt system would allow the engine to shut down when coasting, and the stop-start function would engage before the car has come to a complete halt. The 35 TFSI will be able to run on two of its four cylinders under light throttle.
Inside, the Q2 will get technological updates and perhaps more soft-touch materials to increase the luxury. The infotainment screen mounted on top of the dashboard will increase in size on higher trim levels; we expect a 10.25-inch hi-res screen borrowed from the Audi Q3 and A4. Audi’s Virtual Cockpit digital instrument cluster is likely to be fitted as standard.
A larger suite of advanced driver assistance systems and safety features will be introduced too, but some of them may be reserved for the options list.
