Cars Elegance-Integrated now on Mercedes Sprinter - New top model from Bürstner (2021)
New Mercedes EQE electric saloon hits the road for the first time
Mercedes-Benz's sixth electric model will launch in 2022 alongside next E-Class, set to rival the Tesla Model S with a range of 370 milesNew spyshots show the Tesla Model S rival in what looks like heavy disguise, so we can’t make definitive conclusions on how the EQE will look. We can see, however, it will feature a similar flowing, aerodynamically optimised design as its larger electric sibling. The electric E-Class will adopt the smoothed-off face seen on other EQ models, such as the EQC SUV.
Bürstner has completely revised its top model Elegance for 2020/2021. As already mentioned, the basis of the newly developed integrated is now the Mercedes Sprinter with front-wheel drive. The manufacturer also relies on cooperation with its sister brand Hymer and takes over its SLC chassis with an integrated raised floor. It is known, among other things, from theBürstner with SLC chassis and new toilet system
The special feature of the SLC construction: The longitudinal members of the chassis are provided with special insulation and integrated into the raised floor, which results in a completely flat underbody, which brings aerodynamic advantages. At the same time, the on-board technology is housed in the 36 cm high basement, including the particularly large fresh water tank with a capacity of 140 liters. There is also storage space in the basement, including a through-loading compartment accessible via two apron flaps under the seating area.
New 2021 Mercedes-AMG E63 facelift spotted
AMG's flagship estate will benefit from same raft of tweaks as standard E-Class, with reveal due later this yearWith only light application of the usual body camouflage to trick the eye, we can clearly make out the updated headlight design and reconfigured grille and bumper of the updated E-Class.
Also completely new is the Thetford Indus toilet system, which Bürstner can initially offer exclusively. Flushing with gray water conserves resources; emptying of the black water tank, which guarantees a long self-sufficiency with a capacity of 50 liters, takes place comfortably via an extendable hose with a bell attached. The waste disposal unit is then rinsed with the gray water.floor plans of the Elegance: I 910 G and I 920 G
The Elegance is available in two floor plans: as I 910 G with single beds (each 2 x 1.04 m) and as I 920 G with central double bed (1.97 x 1 , 40 m) in the rear. Both have a bicycle-compatible rear garage. The open plan bathroom with a lockable toilet and a large separate shower, the angular kitchen with an induction hob and two gas burners as well as the 177-liter absorber refrigerator and the spacious seating area in the front are the same. The latter consists of two longitudinal benches on both sides and the rotatable pilot seats.
Formula 1 technology: Ferrari-PAS in the footsteps of Mercedes-DAS
© Giorgio Piola Stuck: Ferrari was inspired by Mercedes at PAS ... DAS was the big surprise during the winter tests of Formula 1 in Barcelona . But not all teams were completely unprepared for the two-axis steering from Mercedes. At this point, Ferrari had already used a steering variant that anticipated some of the advantages of DAS. This has resulted in new research. What Ferrari had already developed in 2019 is referred to by experts as "Power Assisted Steering", or in short: PAS.
Above the cockpit, a fold-down bed (194 x 147 cm) is installed in both floor plans, which can be lowered electrically as standard. The special lifting construction with two guide rails in the A-pillars of the driver's cab leads the bed diagonally forward and down over the dashboard extension. This allows an elegant, seamless connection to the interior furniture, especially to the wall cupboards in the living room.
Both models cost 116,990 euros base price. The Elegance has 143 HP as standard. The next higher power level has 170 HP and costs extra.Bürstner Elegance I 910/920 G
