Struggling with what to get for the kids this Christmas? Fear not as Aldi has just the thing for aspiring police officers and firefighters.

The budget supermarket has launched ride on fire engines, police bikes and ambulances just in time for the festive season - and they’re just £34.99 each.

The ride on bikes, which are pedal operated, feature working headlights and realistic sound effects, with a top speed of 3kilometres per hour.

You can choose between three models including a fire engine, police bike and an ambulance - however we’d suggest acting quickly as we have a feeling these toys won’t be around for much longer.

Citroen WILL sell its tiny Ami electric car in the UK from £5k Bosses gave the green light to the two-seater Citroen Ami coming here after receiving more than 12,000 expressions of interest from potential British customers. The French carmaker says the dinky car exemplifies the 'spirit' of the legendary cheap and cheerful 2CV.So proud is the French car firm about exporting its new car to post-Brexit Britain that they have adorned one of the 47-mile-range models in a bright Union Flag - though it won't be sold with this paint-scheme option.

The bikes are part of Aldi's Specialbuys range and are only being sold online - so you won’t be able to find them in your nearest Aldi store.

You can get the toy posted straight to your door, but standard delivery is free on orders about £30 - so with these bikes you’re in luck.

Next day delivery, or named day delivery will cost you £3.95, but seeing as Aldi isn’t planning to dispatch these until November 7, we’d suggest saving your pennies.

Best of all? The bikes come with a rechargeable battery - so you won’t have to keep buying new ones to keep it running.
