It looks set to be pretty dramatic, as she was witnessed crying as the end of her character's arc was revealed to her . Oddly enough, this anecdote came from Saturday Night Live's Bobby Moynihan , a mutual friend of both Ridley and then Star Wars IX director Colin Trevorrow.

Bobby Moynihan goes onto state that Daisy Ridley started crying as the director detailed his pitch for the final trilogy sequel. While it isn't explained when , exactly, this conversation happened , it doesn't really matter.

But the questions about how much of Trevorrow's plot will stay in the movie will only increase after a new revelation from "Saturday Night Live" alum Bobby Moynihan.

The comic was on Collider's "Jedi Council Podcast" and shared a moment he witnessed between Trevorrow and Ridley:

“I was in 'The Book of Henry,' the movie that Colin Trevorrow directed, and we talked about ["Star Wars"] a great deal. We’re both big fans, one of the reasons why I think he put me in the movie was because we hit it off talking about that,” Moynihan said. “I introduced him to Daisy Ridley at the 'SNL' after-party, it was the first time they had met. I saw a moment where she said, ‘What happens to me?’ And he said, ‘Do you want to do this now?’ And she said, ‘Yeah,’ and they went off into a corner of the bar and he whispered it into her ear and she started crying.”

Colin Trevorrow's idea for Rey in Star Wars : Episode 9 brought star Daisy Ridley to tears, according to SNL's Bobby Moynihan . Unfortunately, after two years on the job, things didn't go according to plan.

“I was like, I’m witnessing ‘Star Wars’ history right now," Moynihan continued on the podcast. "I remember being so amazed and feeling so wonderful and so happy for Colin because he’s such a fan. I haven’t spoken to him since the news came out that he’s not doing it, but it kills me because I would’ve loved to see what he would have done with it because he was very passionate about it.”

Now we wait to see if Trevorrow, Ridley, or Abrams will reveal if Rey's fate that made Ridley cry is still in the movie.
