In an era where audiences complain that movie trailers spoil too much, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment unveiled the most spoiler-filled trailer of all Tuesday morning when what claimed to be a YouTube version of the red-band trailer for Khali the Killer turned out to be all 89 minutes and 46 seconds of the movie.

The movie was written and directed by Jon Matthews and stars Richard Cabral as the titular hitman whose final job is ruined when he develops empathy for the intended victims. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment released the film on DVD in November last year.

Plus-Size Superhero Faith Is Getting Her Own Film Sony are developing a film about plus-size superhero Faith Herbert, it has been revealed. The Valiant Comics character will be brought to the big screen for the first time, as part of a deal Sony signed with the publisher back in 2015. Deadline reports that Maria Melnik (‘American Gods’) will pen the movie and the hunt is on for a lead star. The Hollywood publication has also revealed that two producers have been assigned to the project. Faith - whose alter-ego is Zephyr - has tele-kinetic powers and made her comic book debut in 1992, as part of the Harbinger team. Sony is currently gearing up for the release of another superhero film as Tom Hardy will make his ‘Venom’ debut this October. Sony on Tuesday accidentally uploaded an entire movie to YouTube instead of a trailer and didn't take it down for several hours. The trailer for "Khali the Killer" was intended to announce that the film will be released on DVD and digital platforms, according to CBR.

The video, initially noticed by CBR.com, was live on Sony’s YouTube channel for around eight hours before being removed. Despite the fiasco, it’s worth noting that the move arguably brought more attention to the feature than it had received to this point. Instead of reprimanding the person responsible, perhaps they should be brought into the marketing department.

For those curious about what they missed, the movie is currently available to rent or purchase digitally from Amazon and Apple. It's also available to rent, ironically, on YouTube itself.

YouTube gives creators a way to flag stolen videos .
YouTube keeps a watch over the millions of videos on its service, making sure that they don't violate copyright or community standards. The company removed 8.3 million videos for community guidelines violations in the last quarter of 2017. It hasn't revamped it's Content ID system to flag copyrighted videos since 2013, however. Now the Google-owned video sharing service is launching a new Copyright Match tool that can flag instances of videos that match content creators' original videos.
