Hibernian make Lewis Morgan approach.
Hibernian have reportedly approached Celtic over a January deal to sign Lewis Morgan. According to a report from the Daily Record, Hibernian have made the first move to sign Morgan, but it remains to be seen if they are pursuing a loan or a permanent deal. Oliver Burke’s loan move to Celtic from West Brom has cast further doubts over Morgan’s future, with the former St Mirren man already struggling to break into Brendan Rodgers’ plans. Morgan is yet to start a league game for Celtic this season and has featured nine times off the bench. Lennon is looking to complete a double deal to sign both Morgan and Ryan Gauld, who is closing in a move from Sporting CP. Hibs are looking to strengthen this month in a bid to replace the injured Martin Boyle and the signings of Gauld and Morgan would certainly do that.
