‘The Mandalorian’: See First Trailer for Disney+ ‘Star Wars’ Series
The long-awaited first trailer for The Mandalorian, the Star Wars franchise’s upcoming Disney+ series, was unveiled during Disney’s D23 conference Friday.
George Lucas created the Star Wars prequels to fill in the gaps in the story, answering questions like how Anakin Skywalker became Darth Vader and what the Clone Wars were.
But in doing so, it created a whole bunch of plot holes, with one of the most egregious being the fact that Leia Organa says in Return of the Jedi she remembers her mother Padmé Amidala, but Revenge of the Sith showed her dying in childbirth (from a broken heart, no less).
We've tried debunking a few plot holes (including ones that were created by Disney's supposedly continuity-fixing anthology movies), with the general consensus being she 'knew' Padmé through Force dreams.
Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker director JJ Abrams says Carrie Fisher's Leia is the "heart of the movie"
"We could not possibly tell the end of these nine films without Leia."
But now, in a new annual in the Star Wars Adventures comic series, there is a scene where a young Leia goes for a wander and sees a statue of the former Queen of Naboo. Her adoptive mother Queen Breha Organa then tells her stories of Padmé's heroism and how she was not one to discuss matters in a committee.

She says to her little daughter: "Leia, love, I know you're too young to understand all this… to remember, even. But I want you to hold on to this image, this feeling. That spark – the spark. You have it, too."
While we like to think there's still a bit of Force mysticism in there somewhere, it's nice to add a bit more sense to something that has been bugging fans for years.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will be released on Thursday, December 19 in the UK and Friday, December 20 in the US.
Black hole in solar system could explain evidence of ninth planet .
A black hole hidden on the edge of our solar system could explain the evidence for an undiscovered ninth planet, according to new research. For more than a century some astronomers have suggested that the weird gravitational forces observed acting on distant bodies in the solar system were being caused by another planet. But despite what a team of astronomers from the US and UK calls the "growing body of observational anomalies" connected to distant objects in our solar system, Planet Nine has not been directly detected.
