She told her followers: “Well hello world, just surfaced to let you know that we now have a daughter!"

McGovern announced this summer that she and her girlfriend were expecting.
Becoming a mum is not the only change for the broadcaster as she recently revealed she was leaving BBC Breakfast to host own programme, The Steph Show, on Channel 4.
When the move was announced she paid tribute to her former Breakfast colleagues, saying they were “the most supportive group of show-offs you’ll ever meet”.
She tweeted: “It’s been a bit overwhelming and given I’m due to give birth any day now, I thought I better take a day or two before I tweet.
