The girl band, which recently announced it was coming back for a reunion tour, performed together on The X Factor over the weekend.

When asked if Nicole would make a successful solo artist, Cheryl was quick to slam Nicole as not good enough: "I don't know if she could [go solo].

"You're up against so many fantastic solo artist out there -– Beyonce , Christina, Britney, can you keep up with that?... I don't think she stands out at all."

While Cheryl might not think too highly of the American singer, X Factor: Celebrity star Thom Evans certainly does as he recently addressed rumours that he's dating the show judge after he branded her "stunning and amazing".

Speaking to panelists Christine Lampard, Nadia Sawalha and Jane Moore, the 34-year-old became embarrassed while being quizzed on the stunning TV star.

“Look, Nicole is lovely and I think I’m concentrating on the bromance right now. I just want to get to the final,” he said while giggling and being teased by his fellow boyband stars.

He was then quizzed on the possibility of a romance happening after the show ends.
