The first trailer for Wonder Woman 1984is finally here -- and it was worth the wait. The trailer, which debuted on Sunday out of Brazil Comic-Con as part of a live-stream chat with Patty Jenkins and Gal Gadot, showcases Diana's (Gadot) interactions with Dr. Barbara Minerva, aka Cheetah (Kristen Wiig), as well as her reunion with Steve Trevor (Chris Pine).
"My life hasn't been what you probably think it has. We all have our struggles," Diana says in the trailer. "Have you ever been in love?" Barbara asks. Wonder Woman 1984 will feature a time jump of several decades after the first film, catching up with Diana in a world that is drastically different from the World War I setting of the first film (during which Steve's plane blew up).

Man from Northern Ireland arrested over Essex lorry deaths
A man from Northern Ireland has been arrested in connection with the deaths of 39 Vietnamese nationals in a lorry trailer in Essex last month. The 23-year-old was arrested by Thames Valley Police on behalf of Essex Police in the early hours of Friday on the M40 in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire.He was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to traffic people and conspiracy to assist unlawful immigration.The man, who has not been named, remains in custody, Essex Police said.His arrest comes a month after 39 bodies were discovered in a refrigerated lorry trailer at Waterglade Industrial Park in Grays, Essex, on 23 October.

Gal Gadot is partnering with Keshet International on a film adaptation of a novel banned from school reading lists by the Israeli government because of its depiction of an Israeli-Palestinian romance. The project is based on the controversial 2014 Hebrew novel “Borderlife” by Israeli author Dorit Rabinyan, which was published in English by Random House as “All the Rivers.” The novel tells the story of an Israeli woman and a Palestinian man who meet in New York and fall in love, hiding their romance from their friends and family as they struggle to come to terms with their relationship.
