Joe Exotic is planning to embrace his new status as a global star after the documentary series Tiger King made him one of the most talked-about people of the year.

Yes, the former zoo owner has been the topic of millions of conversations worldwide in the last month after the docuseries dropped on Netflix.

And now, Joe is reportedly planning to make the most of his newfound fame from his Texas prison cell.

After being sentenced to 22 years in prison for animal abuse and conspiring to kill Carole Baskin, many of the series’ stars joked about the irony of their former, fame-hungry boss finally gaining notoriety when he is locked away and unable to enjoy it.

Well, looks like Joe might find a way around that little snag in his plan as reports suggest the inmate is working with broadcasters in the US to create a radio show.

Joe’s fourth husband Dillon revealed that a radio station in America wants to launch a show fronted by Exotic from his cell.

Joe’s colleagues often spoke about the former zoo owner’s desire to be famous and while many might assume he’s missing out on that now, the crafty criminal has found a way to communicate with his so-called ‘fans’.

The 57-year-old has been receiving lots of letters and emails according to husband Dillon and is loving the attention the Netflix series has brought him worldwide.
