The platform is to bring a new blockbuster to Disney+ every Friday throughout the summer, with four instalments of the X-Men movie franchise included.

First up is X-Men: Days of Future Past, which is coming to the service on July 10. The movie sees the casts of the original trilogy and prequel movies join forces in a timey-wimey attempt to prevent a future disaster.

On July 17, X-Men: Apocalypse will also be available to stream on Disney+. Following on from Days of Future Past, this one sees Professor Xavier and his students come up against the most powerful mutant they have ever encountered. And he looks like Ivan Ooze from Power Rangers.
