Emma Bunton has revealed she met up with all four of her Spice Girls bandmates last week, for a less-than-glamorous stroll in the rain.

This time a year ago, Emma was performing across the UK on the Spice World 2019 stadium tour, alongside Mel B, Geri Horner and Melanie C.

But while Victoria Beckham declined to appear alongside the rest of the group for their latest live shows, she was apparently present and correct when the band met up earlier this month.

I actually started to think I would never see them again… well unless it was on Zoom calls. And this week, yes, I finally got to meet up with Geri, Mel B, Mel C and Victoria!”

She continued: “Now, you may think we propped up a bar somewhere or had drinks in the garden but no! We went on a social distancing walk in the woods, yes!

After saying she didn’t want to tour with the rest of the Spice Girls (despite much encouragement from Mel B) last year, Victoria still supported the band.

She said at the time: “Being in the Spice Girls was a hugely important part of my life and I wish my girls so much love and fun as they go back on tour, I know they will put on an amazing show and the fantastic fans past and present are going to have a wonderful time!”

It turns out last week was a big one for Victoria, not only meeting up with the rest of the Spice Girls for a socially-distanced walk, but also celebrating the engagement of her eldest son, Brooklyn.
