Taskmaster will be back in the autumn for series 10 with a whole crop of new celebrities who will be competing in tasks for the approval of hosts Greg Davies and Alex Horne.

While the lineup for the show's first Channel 4 run looks excellent, the hosts have revealed their wish list of celebrities they would like to pin down for the show – and yes, they are as entertaining as you'd imagine.

Horne said: "I've mentioned Jack Dee in every single interview I've done – so Jack Dee.

"Because I watched him on Celebrity Big Brother, it must have been 10 years ago now, trying to escape by digging a hole with a spoon, which I think... that's Taskmaster behaviour. So, Jack Dee."

"I'm lobbying hard for Prince Philip," Davies joked. "But, yeah... his agent's a nightmare. I think his agent's trying to bump the fee by not returning my calls."

Taskmaster confirmed that it would be moving from its original UKTV home of Dave to Channel 4 last year.

Last series' winner Ed Gamble previously weighed in on the change of channel, and explained that it was a "great" opportunity for the fan-favourite comedy.
